- Primero. REVOCAR la Sentencia del veinte (20) de noviembre de 2000, proferida por el Tribunal Superior del Distrito Judicial de Medellín - Sala Penal -.
- Segundo. CONCEDER la tutela al señor EDGAR ERNESTO ROCHA y en consecuencia, ordenar al Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario (Inpec) - Regional Medellín - , al director de la Cárcel Bellavista y al director del Hospital San Vicente de Paúl, fijar la fecha para la realización de la cirugía dentro de un término que no puede exceder de treinta (30) días calendario siguientes a la fecha de notificación de esta providencia.
- Tercero. LÍBRENSE las comunicaciones de que trata el artículo 36 del Decreto 2591 de 1991, para los efectos allí contemplados.
