- PRIMERO. REVOCAR las sentencias proferidas por el Juzgado
- Octavo. de Familia de Bogotá, el 12 de julio de 2000 y por el Tribunal Superior de Distrito Judicial de Bogotá, Sala de Familia, el 6 de septiembre de 2000 y en su lugar CONCEDER la tutela a Nicolás Emilio García Palacios y ordenar que en el término de 48 horas se le entregue toda la información disponible y solicitada por Nicolás Emilio García Palacios.
- SEGUNDO. PREVENIR al Ministerio del Interior para que en futuras ocasiones actúe con mayor diligencia en la consecución y suministro de información solicitada para facilitar así una mayor participación ciudadana.
- TERCERO. Líbrense por Secretaría, las comunicaciones de que trata el artículo 36 del Decreto 2591 de 1991.
