- Primero. Revocar el fallo de la Sala de Casación Laboral de la Corte Suprema de Justicia del 9 de junio de 2003.
- Segundo. Confirmar parcialmente, por las razones expuestas en esta sentencia, el fallo de la Sala de Casación Civil de la Corte Suprema de Justicia, que negó la tutela de los derechos fundamentales de Jorge Arévalo..
- Tercero. Ordenar que por Secretaría General se compulse copia del proceso de tutela y del expediente del proceso ejecutivo y de la presente sentencia, con destino a la Sala Jurisdiccional Disciplinaria, para lo de su competencia.
- Cuarto. Ordenar que por Secretaría General se remita al Juzgado 13 Civil del Circuito de Bogotá, el original del expediente 1100131030113198851214 01.
- Quinto. Levantar la suspensión de términos ordenada mediante auto del 10 de octubre de 2002, en el asunto de la referencia
