- Primero. REVOCAR la sentencia proferida por el Juzgado Penal Municipal de Corozal (Sucre), del 7 de enero de 2000.
- Segundo. CONCEDER el amparo invocado. En consecuencia, ORDENAR al Alcalde del Municipio de Corozal, si ya no lo hubiere hecho, proceda, dentro de las cuarenta y ocho (48) horas siguientes a la notificación del presente fallo, a cancelar los salarios que le adeuda al peticionario Jhon Fredy Contreras Suárez, siempre y cuando exista partida presupuestal disponible. En caso de que no exista la respectiva partida, deberá realizar las operaciones presupuestales para garantizar el pago de los salarios debidos. Dichas gestiones no podrán exceder el término perentorio de tres (3) meses.
- Tercero. PREVENIR al Alcalde Municipal de Corozal para que evite volver a incurrir en las omisiones ilegítimas que originaron el presente proceso, so pena de las sanciones legalmente correspondientes.
- Cuarto. Por Secretaría líbrese la comunicación de que trata el artículo 36 del Decreto 2591 de 1991.
