- Primero. REVOCAR la decision proferida en segunda instancia por el Juzgado
- Septimo. Civil del Circuito de Barranquilla de fecha 18 de diciembre de 1997 y en su lugar CONFIRMAR la decision del juzgado Diecisiete Civil Municipal de esa misma ciudad, del 14 de octubre de 1997, pero con base en las consideraciones expuestas en esta sentencia.
- Segundo. ADVERTIR a la Universidad Antonio Narino de Barranquilla, que no podra retener el titulo profesional a que tiene derecho la senora Vergel Arevalo, so pretexto del incumplimiento por parte de esta, en las obligaciones contraidas con dicha institucion.
- Tercero. SURTASE el tramite previsto en el articulo 36 del Decreto 2591 de 1991.
