Revisión de inconstitucionalidad de la Ley 1604 de 2012, por medio de la cual se aprueba la “Convención sobre municiones en racimo”, hecha en Dublín, República de Irlanda, el 30 de mayo de 2008.
La Corte precisó que la Convención sobre municiones en racimo es un instrumento del derecho internacional humanitario aplicable en circunstancias de conflicto armado de carácter internacional o interno y que la adhesión de Colombia a dicha Convención resulta acorde con el objetivo de alcanzar la paz, como un fin y derecho fundamental.
Se declaran EXEQUIBLES tanto la Convención como su ley aprobatoria.
