- Primero. REVOCAR la sentencia proferida por el Juzgado 22 Penal del Circuito de Medellin el 1deg de abril de 1997 y, en su lugar, tutelar los derechos al debido proceso y a la libertad de Hector Alonso Zapata Congote.
- Segundo. ORDENAR a la Fiscalia Regional de Medellin que, si aun no lo ha hecho, decrete la nulidad de lo actuado en la investigacion que se adelanta contra Hector Alonso Zapata Congote, desde que se cumplieron las treinta y seis (36) horas siguientes a su primera solicitud de ser oido.
- Tercero. ORDENAR que, por medio de la Secretaria General, se remita copia de la presente providencia a la Procuraduria General de la Nacion, para lo de su competencia.
- Cuarto. COMUNIQUESE este fallo de revision al Juzgado 22 Penal del Circuito de Medellin, para los efectos previstos en el articulo 36 del Decreto 2591 de 1991.
