Primero. REVOCAR la sentencia de fecha tres (3) de junio de dos mil tres (2003), proferida por la Sala Civil del Tribunal Superior del Distrito Judicial de Barranquilla, que denegó la acción de tutela interpuesta por el señor Manuel María Paez Palacios, en contra del Seguro Social Seccional Atlántico. En su lugar, CONCEDER la protección de los derechos invocados.
Segundo. ORDENAR al director de la EPS demandada, o a quien haga sus veces, que en el término de cuarenta y ocho (48) horas contadas a partir de la notificación de esta sentencia, realice las gestiones tendientes para la adaptación de la prótesis ocular prescrita al señor Manuel María Paez Palacios. A la entidad le asiste el derecho de repetir por lo que pague en cumplimiento de este fallo de tutela ante la Subcuenta respectiva del Fondo de Solidaridad y Garantía del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud (Fosyga) y en tal caso, el Fosyga decidirá sobre el particular en un término no superior a 6 meses.
Tercero. LÍBRENSE por Secretaría General de la Corte, las comunicaciones de que trata el artículo 36 del decreto 2591 de 1991, en la forma y para los efectos allí contemplados.
