- Primero. DECLARAR EXEQUIBLES la Ley 412 del 6 de noviembre de 1997, "Por medio de la cual se aprueba la Convención Interamericana contra la Corrupción, suscrita en Caracas el 29 de marzo de 1996" y la Convención misma.
- Segundo. COMUNÍQUESE esta decisión al Gobierno nacional por intermedio de la secretaría General de la Presidencia de la República, y envíesele copia auténtica de la misma para los efectos constitucionales previstos en el numeral 10 del artículo 241 de la Carta Política.
