Primero. REVOCAR la decisión proferida el 25 de abril de 2001 por la Sala Laboral del Tribunal Superior de Neiva. En su lugar, TUTELAR los derechos fundamentales de petición, a la vida y al mínimo vital de Adan Cortes.
Segundo. ORDENAR al Instituto de Seguros Sociales para que en las cuarenta y ocho (48) horas siguientes a la notificación de este fallo, sí aún no lo hubiere hecho, agote todos los trámites necesarios, y se pronuncie sobre la liquidación del bono pensional a cargo del Fondo de Pensiones del Departamento del Huila.
Si por el contrario, el trámite de revisión de la liquidación del bono pensional ya hubiere sido aprobado, deberá el Instituto de Seguros Sociales, remitir en un plazo no mayor a cuarenta y ocho (48) horas, la respuesta correspondiente al Fondo de Pensiones del Departamento del Huila.
Tercero. Por Secretaria, líbrese la comunicación prevista por el artículo 36 del decreto 2591 de 1991.
