Primero. REVOCAR la sentencia expedida por el Tribunal Superior de Cundinamarca el 16 de diciembre de 1998 y, en su lugar, tutelar el derecho a la salud del demandante en conexión con sus derechos constitucionales fundamentales a la vida y a la integridad física.
Segundo. ORDENAR al Instituto de Seguros Sociales que, dentro de las cuarenta y ocho (48) horas siguientes a la notificación de esta providencia, autorice al demandante la práctica del tac de tórax con biopsia dirigida por trucut que requiere para obtener un diagnóstico sobre su enfermedad.
Tercero. Líbrense por Secretaria General de esta Corporación, las comunicaciones de que trata el artículo 36 del decreto 2591 de 1991.
