- Primero. REVOCAR la sentencia proferida por la Sala de Casación Laboral de la Corte Suprema de Justicia el 14 de septiembre de 1999 y, en su lugar, confirmar la providencia adoptada por la Sala Laboral del Tribunal Superior del Distrito Judicial de Guadalajara de Buga el 9 de agosto de 1999, por medio de la cual se tutelaron los derechos a la libertad y el trabajo de Andrés Medina Aguirre.
- Segundo. Prevenir al Club Deportivo Escuela de Fútbol Carlos Sarmiento Lora para que se abstenga de actuaciones como las que dieron origen a la presente acción de tutela, so pena de las sanciones previstas en el Decreto 2591 de 1991 para el desacato.
- Tercero. Por Secretaría, líbrese la comunicación prevista en el artículo 36 del Decreto 2591 de 1991.
