- Primero. Confirmar las sentencias proferidas por el Tribunal Superior del Distrito Judicial de Santafé de Bogotá y la Corte Suprema de Justicia en el trámite del proceso radicado bajo el número T-271505, por medio de las cuales se denegó el amparo, pero por la carencia actual de objeto que se presentó a partir del mes de enero de 2000.
- Segundo. Prevenir al Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario para que evite omisiones y retardos como los que dieron origen a este proceso, so pena de las sanciones contempladas en el Decreto 2591 de 1991 para el desacato.
- Tercero. Remitir copia de esta providencia a la Procuraduría General de la Nación para que investigue si hay lugar a exigir responsabilidad por los hechos que originaron este proceso.
- Cuarto. Por Secretaría, líbrese la comunicación prevista en el artículo 36 del Decreto 2591 de 1991.
