R E S U E L V E:
PRIMERO. REVOCAR la sentencia de octubre seis de 1995, proferida por el Juzgado promiscuo Municipal de Policarpa.
SEGUNDO. OTORGAR a MELQUISEDEC BENAVIDES la tutela a su derecho a la integridad personal y a su dignidad y, en consecuencia, ordenar a LUIS IDELFONSO CHAVEZ que, en lo sucesivo, se abstenga de ultrajarle y maltratarle ya sea física o verbalmente y, en cambio, resuelva sus diferencias de manera pacífica y civilizada. En el evento de que LUIS IDELFONSO CHAVEZ incumpla lo ordenado en esta sentencia, será sancionado por el Juzgado de conocimiento de conformidad con lo preceptúado en el artículo 52 del Decreto 2591 de 1991. En lo que se refiere a las demás peticiones de la demanda, se niegan.
TERCERO. ORDENESE al Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar que, a través del Defensor de Familia, coadyuve a la resolución de la controversia familiar de orden interno que dio origen a la presente tutela y para tal efecto adopte las medidas y las acciones que sean pertinentes.
CUARTO. LIBRESE comunicación al mencionado Juzgado, con miras a que se surta la notificación de esta providencia, según lo establecido en el artículo 36 del Decreto 2591 de 1991.
