Salud, vida digna.
Solicita la accionante que mediante acción de tutela se ordene a su EPS la realización de un procedimiento quirúrgico que le ayudaría a bajar de peso, ya que sufre de obesidad mórbida grado dos y por esta razón se encuentra gravemente afectada.
La Sala encuentra que la accionante no ha agotado todos los requisitos necesarios para que la EPS pueda ordenar la intervención quirúrgica solicitada, por lo tanto hace un llamado para que valore la situación de salud de la accionante para determinar si la cirugía solicitada mejoraría su salud y calidad de vida.

- Primero. CONFIRMAR la decision proferida por el Juzgado Trece Civil del Circuito de Barranquilla en julio 7 de 2008, que denego la accion de tutela interpuesta por la senora Katherine Walevska Zambrano.
- Segundo. PREVENIR a Sanitas EPS a fin de que en el termino de cuarenta y ocho (48) horas contadas a partir de la notificacion de esta sentencia, valore la situacion de salud de la senora Katherine Zambrano, con el fin de determinar si efectivamente la cirugia bariatrica solicitada mejoraria su salud emocional y su calidad de vida.
- Tercero. Por Secretaria General, librese la comunicacion a que se refiere el articulo 36 del decreto 2591 de 1991.
