ARTICULO 130 . OFICIALES DE SEGURIDAD. Son oficiales de Seguridad los egresados de la Escuela Nacional Penitenciaria, encargados de la vigilancia y seguridad de los establecimientos penitenciarios y carcelarios nacionales que tienen como misión dirigir, coordinar y responder por los servicios de orden, seguridad y disciplina en los establecimientos de reclusión y de garantizar el normal desarrollo de sus actividades, ejerciendo con eficiencia y eficacia el mando sobre el personal bajo sus órdenes.
