Los miembros del Consejo Nacional Electoral ejercerán sus funciones en forma permanente, sin sujeción a jornada ni a remuneración fija mensual y estarán sometidos a la prohibición del ejercicio de toda actividad partidista y de todo cargo público. No estarán sujetos a la edad de retiro forzoso.
