1Prohíbese En El Territorio De La República El Cultivo Y Comercio De La Marihuana ( Cannabis Sativa Y Sus Variedades )2Las Autoridades De Higiene Y De Policía Procederán A La Inmediata Destrucción De Las Plantaciones Existentes Y Están Obligadas A Denunciar Ante Los Jueces Penales A Los Transgresores, Los Que Serán Castigados Conforme Al Artículo 1º De La Ley 45 De 1946 Con Prisión De Seis Meses A Cinco Años Y Multa De Cincuenta A Mil Pesos3El Ministerio De Justicia Comisionará A Los Jueces De Instrucción Que Sean Necesarios Para Que Procedan A Investigar Sin Dilaciones Los Delitos Previstos En El Artículo 1º De La Ley 45 De 19464Las Autoridades Mencionadas En Este Decreto Quedan En La Obligación De Dar Aviso Inmediato A La Sección De Estupefacientes Del Ministerio De Higiene De Toda Destrucción De Plantaciones O Tráfico De Marihuana, Suministrando El Nombre Del Responsable Y Las Sanciones Que Se Hubieren Impuesto5Los Funcionarios Que Fueren Renuentes O Contemporizadores En El Cumplimiento De Las Disposiciones Que Consagra Este Decreto Serán Sancionados Por El Respectivo Superior Con La Remoción Del Cargo
