RESPONSABILIDAD DE LOS GUARDIANES POR NEGLIGENCIA. Los oficiales, suboficiales y guardianes del Cuerpo de Custodia y Vigilancia Penitenciaria Nacional serán responsables de los daños y perjuicios causados por los internos a los bienes e instalaciones de la institución, por fallas en el servicio de vigilancia atribuibles a culpa o dolo, declaradas judicialmente.
