Article 11

Los Establecimientos Educativos Podrán Fijar Libremente Los Costos De Matrícula Y Pensión Del Primer Grado De Escolaridad Que Ofrezcan

Decreto 2542 de 1991 · por el cual se establece el régimen de costos educativos en los establecimientos privados en los niveles de preescolar, básica (primaria y secundaria) media vocacional y educación especial y se dictan otras disposiciones.

Los establecimientos educativos podrán fijar libremente los costos de matrícula y pensión del primer grado de escolaridad que ofrezcan. En aquellos planteles que sólo ofrezcan el nivel de secundaria, la opción prevista en este artículo será aplicable al grado 6o.

Parágrafo 1

La decisión que adopten los establecimientos educativos deberá ser comunicada a la respectiva Junta Seccional de Matrículas y Pensiones. Si no fuere objetada en un término de dos meses, el aumento quedará en firme.

Parágrafo 2

En el evento en que la junta seccional decida objetar dicha alza, deberá contar con la aprobación de la Junta Nacional de Matrículas y Pensiones.
