Las sanciones deberán imponerse mediante resolución motivada, expedida por el Ministerio de Salud o su entidad delegada, y deberán notificarse personalmente al afectado, dentro del término de los cinco (5) días hábiles siguientes a la fecha de su expedición. Si no pudiere hacerse la notificación personal, se hará por edicto de conformidad con lo dispuesto por el Decreto 01 de 1984.
