La presente Ley aumenta el tiempo de servicio en cada grado para el personal de clases y marinería; para compensar este aumento de tiempo de servicio, establécese la siguiente prima mensual: Para Marineros Primeros y equivalentes, Cabos Segundos y Primeros, Cabos Segundos y Primeros de Infantería de Marina, Suboficiales Primeros, Sargentos Segundos y Viceprimeros de Infantería de Marina, el diez por ciento (10%) sobre su sueldo básico, y para los Suboficiales Jefes y Sargentos Primeros de Infantería de Marina, el quince por ciento (15%).
