El jefe de la entidad en donde se halle en comisión un funcionario de la Carrera Dipomática y Consular, deberá rendir informe confidencial al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores sobre su conducta al término de la comisión. Los informes se incluirán en la hoja de vida del funcionario y se tendrán en cuenta para el ascenso.
