Dentro del área donde funcionen las zonas francas podrán establecerse instituciones financieras que estarán sometidas a la inspección y vigilancia de la Superintendencia Bancaria. La Junta Monetaria determinará las operaciones que pueden efectuar dichas instituciones y las condiciones en que deban realizarse.
