Para la aplicación de las sanciones previstas en el presente decreto se estará al procedimiento establecido en el Título I, Capítulo 9° de la Ley 336 de 1996, y de él conocerán en primera instancia las Asesorías Regionales o Seccionales del Ministerio de Transporte, según el caso, y en segunda instancia, la Dirección General de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre Automotor de este Ministerio.
