DE LA INVESTIGACION POR LA PROCURADURIA. En cualquier momento la Procuraduría General de la Nación podrá iniciar o asumir una investigación disciplinaria, caso en el cual el investigador deberá suspender las diligencias que estuviere adelantando y poner a disposición de la Procuraduría todos los documentos que sean pertinentes, dejando constancia de ello en el expediente, previa información al Jefe del Organismo o de la dependencia regional o seccional, según el caso. No obstante lo anterior, la entidad podrá hacer uso de la suspensión provisional del funcionario investigado prevista en el artículo 26 del presente Decreto, e informará a la Procuraduría de este hecho.
