Testimonios ante notarios y alcaldes. Los testimonios para fines no judiciales, se rendirán exclusivamente ante notarios o alcaldes. Igualmente los que tengan fines judiciales y no se pida la citación de la parte contraria; en este caso, el peticionario afirmará bajo juramento, que se considera prestado con la presentación del escrito, que sólo están destinados a servir de prueba sumaria en determinado asunto para el cual la ley autoriza esta clase de prueba, y sólo tendrán valor para dicho fin.
