Todo empleador de un extranjero deberá exigir la presentación de la cédula de extranjería y dar aviso, dentro de los cinco (5) días siguientes a la iniciación de sus labores, a la División de Extranjería del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad o a sus oficinas seccionales, y en su defecto este aviso deberá darse a la primera autoridad política del respectivo lugar.
