Funciones de la Sección de Marcas. Son funciones de la Sección de Marcas

a)

Estudiar y tramitar conforme a la ley, las solicitudes que se relacionen con el registro de marcas de fábrica, rótulos y nombres comerciales, lemas de propaganda, muestras, enseñas y estilos comerciales;

b)

Estudiar y tramitar las renovaciones, traspasos y cambios de nombre de los registros a que se refiere el literal anterior; Estudiar y tramitar las caducidades y abandonos de marcas y demás modalidades de propiedad industrial;

c)

Elaborar los títulos o certificados relativos al registro de marcas y demás modalidades de propiedad industrial a que se refieren los literales a) y b), y

d)

Colaborar con la División de Industrias en todo lo relacionado con el registro, vigencia y uso de marcas o similares.
