Artículo séptimo. Los Fondos Ganaderos podrán adquirir propiedades rurales hasta por un valor equivalente al 20% de su capital pagado y reserva legal, previo concepto favorable de la Superintendencia Bancaria, con el fin de seleccionar, multiplicar y difundir ganados de primera clase, establecer fincas modelos, dar pastaje temporal o someter a cuarentena ganados que van a entregarse en participación.
