AREA EN ALUVIONES. El área de la licencia para explorar aluviones en el lecho o en las márgenes de los ríos o en islas ubicadas en su cauce, estará delimitada por un polígono, regular o irregular, que no exceda de 5.000 metros longitudinales de su cauce continuo. Estas licencias serán otorgadas sólo para la mediana y gran minería.
