º PROPIEDAD DE LOS MATERIALES PETREOS. También pertenecen a la Nación, en forma inalienable e imprescriptible y con iguales atribuciones a las señaladas en el artículo anterior, las canteras y los demás depósitos de materiales de construcción de origen mineral, así como los pétreos de los lechos de los ríos, aguas de uso público y playas. Quedan a salvo igualmente, las situaciones jurídicas, subjetivas y concretas, de quienes en su calidad de propietarios de los predios de ubicación de dichas canteras, las hubieren descubierto y explotado antes de la vigencia de este Código.
