Procedencia de la devolución. Podrá solicitarse la devolución de los tributos aduaneros y demás sumas pagadas en exceso, en los siguientes eventos

Cuando se hubiere pagado una suma mayor a la que se determinó en la liquidación oficial;

Cuando se presentó declaración de importación y no se realizó el levante total o parcial de la mercancía declarada; o,

En los eventos previstos en el artículo 24 del Decreto 2444 de 1990 o en las normas que lo sustituyan.
