Art. 4.° El Corregimiento del Yarí tendrá los siguientes límites: desde el nacimiento del río Yarí en la cordillera oriental, por su magen izquierda, hasta la desembocadura del río Mesaya; de aquí linea recta hasta la desembocadura del río Tuyarí en el Caquetá ; este aguas abajo, por su margen izquierda, hasta encontrar los límites con el Brasil y Venezuela; siguiendo estos límites hasta encontrar la desembocadura del Guaviare en el Orínoco; éste aguas arríba hasta la desembocadura del río Unilla en el Guayavero; el Unilla aguas arriba hasta su nacimiento en la cordillera oriental ; ésta hacia el Sur hasta el nacimiento del río Yarí, punto de partida. Art. 5.° En cada uno de los Corregimientos habrá un Inspector de Policía que tendrá, fuera de las atribuciones que son propias de conformidad con lo dispuesto por las leyes y decretos, las que corresponden á los Alcaldes de Distrito, según el artículo 226 de la Ley 149 de 1888 y hará también las veces de Tesorero municipal.
