Se entiende que un funcionario de la Carrera se encuentra en Comisión cuando

a)

Desempeñe un cargo en entidades oficiales diferentes al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, o en Organismos Internacionales;

b)

Adelante estudios en asuntos que interesen al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, previa autorización mediante resolución ministerial;

c)

Desempeñe un cargo en la Planta interna del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores o en el servicio exterior superior o inferior al que le corresponda en el Escalafón.
