El instituto tendrá un Revisor Fiscal, que será designado por el contralor General de la República, de4141 terna elaborada por la Cámara de Representantes, de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 1° del Decreto extraordinario número 1042 de 1940. Serán funciones del Revisor Fiscal, las señaladas en el inciso 3° del precitado Decreto número 1042. La remuneración del funcionamiento de que se trata, será cubierta por el Instituto, en cuanto le corresponda de conformidad con el inciso 2° de dicha disposición.
