Mientras el banco de la republica tenga la facultad exclusiva de comprar, vender y exportar oro, el que se extraiga en el territorio del departamento de Antioquia será comprado en Medellín para facilitar a los mineros el ejercicio de su industria, y todas las labores relacionadas con el oro se harán en le casa de moneda del departamento de Antioquia, como se han hecho hasta hoy y lo dispone el artículo 8° de la ley 15 de 1918 .
