Dirección Y Administración Del Fondo

Ley 99 de 1993 · por la cual se crea el Ministerio del Medio Ambiente, se reordena el Sector Público encargado de la gestión y conservación del medio ambiente y los recursos naturales renovables, se organiza el Sistema Nacional Ambiental, SINA, y se dictan otras disposiciones.

Las funciones de dirección y administración del Fondo Ambiental de la Amazonia estarán a cargo del Ministro del Medio Ambiente, quien podrá delegarlas en el Viceministro. El Consejo de Gabinete y los directores de CORPOAMAZONIA, CDA y el Director del Instituto “SINCHI”, conformarán un consejo decisorio en materia de dirección y administración del Fondo, en él se tomarán las decisiones pertinentes, conforme al estatuto reglamentario que al efecto expida el Gobierno Nacional.

El Ministro del Medio Ambiente será el representante legal del FAMAZONICO y el ordenador del gasto.
