El Gobierno ejercerá las atribuciones que corresponden a las Asambleas sobre las materias del régimen departamental y del municipal, en cuanto lo requieran el orden y el desarrollo de la Intendencia, y concederá a esta entidad, en lo posible y conveniente, la mayor autonomía e independencia para ]a administración de sus intereses seccionales.
