Retiro por edad. Es forzoso el retiro de los Oficiales y Suboficiales de la Policía Nacional cuando cumplan las siguientes edades en los grados

Oficiales Subteniente 35 años Teniente. . . 40 años Capitán. . 45 años Mayor . 50 años Teniente Coronel. 52 años Coronel 55 años Brigadier General. 58 años Mayor. General. 61 años General. . 65 años

Suboficiales Cabo Segundo. 40 años Cabo Primero. 44 años Sargento Segundo 48 años Sargento Viceprimero 50 años Sargento Primero, .. 53 años Sargento Mayor 55 años Para Oficiales y Suboficiales de los Servicios se aumentará en diez (10) años las edades previstas en este artículo, sin que puedan sobrepasar los sesenta y cinco (65) años los Oficiales y cincuenta y cinco (55) los Suboficiales.
