Artículo quinto. Las Inspecciones Municipales de clase C, dentro del territorio de su jurisdicción, tendrá las siguientes funciones: j). Dirigir, organizar y controlar todo lo relacionado con el tránsito municipal de vehículos y personas, velar por el cumplimiento de las disposiciones sobre la materia y rendir los informes que le soliciten las autoridades superiores; k). Otorgar y cancelar permisos de funcionamiento a los talleres de mecánica automotriz que operen en el Municipio de su Jurisdicción; l). Las demás que les señalen la ley, los decretos reglamentarios, las ordenanzas departamentales y los acuerdos municipales.
