En razón de su misión y de su régimen especial, la Universidad Nacional de Colombia es una persona jurídica autónoma, con gobierno, patrimonio y rentas propias y con capacidad para organizarse, gobernarse, designar sus propias autoridades y para dictar normas y reglamentos, conforme al presente Decreto.
