Los padrinos de un duelo, cuando este se realizare, serán sancionados con arresto de dos meses a un año. La pena será de seis meses a tres años de prisión si concertaren el duelo a muerte en condiciones tales que esta sea inevitable o cuando emplearen medios desleales contra alguno de los combatientes.
