El buque podrá ser comandado por Oficiales de los grados de Teniente de Navío a Capitán de Navío, según la importancia del barco o la misión que tenga. La Flotilla o la División será comandada por un Oficial Naval Superior o General, de acuerdo con la importancia y la misión que tenga. La Escuadra será comandada por un Capitán de Navío o un Oficial Naval General.
