ARTICULO 50. Interdicción de derechos y funciones públicas. La interdicción de derechos y funciones públicas priva de la facultad de elegir y ser elegido, del ejercicio de cualquier otro derecho político, función pública u oficial y dignidades que confieren las entidades oficiales e incapacita para pertenecer a los cuerpos armados de la República. Esta pena inhabilita así mismo para adquirir cualquiera de los derechos, empleos, oficios o calidades de que trata el inciso anterior.
