Los fallos serán motivados, debiendo hacer la declaración de culpabilidad y responsabilidad con respecto a los accidentes investigados, si es que a ello hubiere lugar y, determinará el avalúo de los daños ocurridos con tal motivo. Así mismo, impondrá las sanciones o multas que fueren del caso si se comprobaren violaciones a normas o reglamentos que regulan las actividades marítimas.
