Para los afiliados de que trata el literal a) del artículo 157, el régimen contributivo reconocerá y pagará a cada una de las Entidades Promotoras de Salud, la licencia por maternidad, de conformidad con las disposiciones legales vigentes. El cumplimiento de esta obligación será financiado por el Fondo de Solidaridad, de su subcuenta de compensación, como una transferencia diferente de las Unidades de Pago por Capitación, UPC.
