El artículo 216 del Código de Procedimiento Penal, quedará así:

Artículo 216. APELACION CONTRA LA PROVIDENCIA QUE DECIDA SOBRE LA DETENCION O LIBERTAD DEL SINDICADO. Cuando se trate de apelación de providencias que decidan sobre la detención o libertad del sindicado, los términos previstos en los artículos anteriores se reducirán a la mitad.

Las providencias que se dicten para conceder y tramitar este recurso no se notifican y son de inmediato cumplimiento.
