La recaudación del impuesto especial que con destino al ensanche y mejoramiento de los Lazaretos ha sido creado por los artículos 9º y siguientes de la Ley 53 de 1921, estará también a cargo de los Síndicos, Subsíndicos y agentes especiales de los Lazaretos. El cobro de este impuesto se hará efectivo por medio de estampillas llamadas de sanidad, de la manera que se indica en los artículos siguientes:
