El que con el propósito de obtener para sí o para otro u otros, un provecho económico, actúe como intermediario entre los familiares, allegados o amigos de la persona secuestrada o extorsionada y los secuestradores o extorsionistas, para efectos de lograr la entrega de aquélla o los resultados de la extorsión, incurrirá en prisión de 3 a 8 años.
